The role of a family counselor with us

Your tasks will include conducting therapeutic conversations and thereby contributing to the processing of relationship problems and conflicts in couples and family relationships. You will also provide counseling over the phone.

Your profile

In the role of family counselor, high demands are placed on your ability to understand someone else's perspective or situation without taking over their feelings. It is also very important that you find it easy to create and maintain good relationships. As society and family constellations change over time, you have an interest and commitment to staying updated in the field and sharing your knowledge with your colleagues. You express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written, as this is required in daily work. Personal suitability will be of great importance.

We are looking for someone who:

is a social worker or behavioral scientist and holds psychotherapy training equivalent to step 1, including at least 50 hours of personal therapy.

It is an advantage if you have:

Competence and experience in the area of violence in close relationships, such as training in conversations about violence, conversations about freedom, SARA & PATRIARK.
Training in sexology.
Experience working in other areas of social services.

Our offer and additional information

We offer a permanent full-time position with placement according to agreement or no later than September 1.
