A 19-year-old girl in Onsala is looking for a female assistant to help make her everyday life a little easier and a lot more fun.

You will be her right hand in everything from daily tasks to joining her in leisure activities. Perhaps a coffee in town, or a cozy movie night at home – the variety is vast, just like life.

A bit practical

• You need to speak Swedish very well, as you will interpret and be her voice in meetings with others.
• A driver's license and your own car are a must – she lives in the countryside, and the bus doesn't run every quarter hour.
• You should not be allergic, as there are both animals and nature here.
• No smoking is allowed.

The working hours vary between days, evenings, weekends, and nights (with two hours of sleeping duty).

What does the employment look like?
We start with a temporary hourly position so you can get to know each other. If it feels good, there is an opportunity for a fixed-term position at 75%. You can also choose to continue as an hourly employee and step in as needed.

GIL has coordinated personal assistance since 1989. The cooperative has roots in the Independent Living movement, which is based on the principle that those with disabilities know best how they want to live their lives. Typically, the person entitled to assistance is their assistants' closest manager, or a person with specific knowledge about the individual is appointed.
