Personal assistance is a service under LSS (The Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant requires a high ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is committed and enjoys working at both a fast and slow pace. The assistance is varied and involves considerable movement and activities at times. It is also important that you are attentive and have a responsible and respectful approach.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a 35-year-old man living in Kungsbacka
• has experience as a personal assistant, or in care and support
• has excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• holds a manual driving license

It is also an advantage if you:

• have experience with low-arousal approaches
• have experience with motor impairments
• have experience with epilepsy
• have experience with alternative communication

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is approximately 30%. Working hours are Fridays between 07:00-19:00, with good opportunities to work extra.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that confirm your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
