Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (The Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's autonomy and privacy, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant requires a strong ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is engaged and enjoys working at both a high and low pace. The assistance is varied and involves periods of significant movement and activities. It is also important that you are attentive and have a responsible and respectful approach.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a man in his 30s living in Kungsbacka
• has experience as a personal assistant or in healthcare and social services
• holds a valid manual B driver's license
• has excellent Swedish, both spoken and written

It is also advantageous if you:

• have experience with motor disabilities
• have experience with autism
• have experience with low-arousal approaches
• have experience with epilepsy
• have experience with alternative communication methods

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The positions are summer temporary with an employment rate of approximately 100%. The shifts are scheduled for daytime, evening, and nighttime (active night) during the period from week 27 to week 33.

We are looking for two people – one working from 07:00 to 19:00 and one working from 19:00 to 07:00.

Hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you will need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
