Do you want to make a real difference in someone's daily life? We are currently looking for a personal assistant for a cheerful, active, and social 19-year-old. Maybe you are the one we are looking for?

About the position

You will be an important support in the daily life of a young man who recently graduated and will start a daily activity in the summer. He is full of energy, has a great sense of humor, and a big interest in football. He also enjoys video games, vaulting (a discipline in equestrian sports), and talking about what engages him – so we hope you are curious and enjoy listening. There is a dog in the home who is his assistant/friend.

In your role as a personal assistant, you will help with personal care, household chores, and creating a safe and meaningful daily life together. He currently lives at home with his family outside Laholm, but in the summer he will move to his own apartment in central Halmstad.

Some days will involve extra responsibility: he has epileptic seizures a few times a week, and it is important that you can act calmly and securely when it happens – always prioritizing safety.

About working hours and scope

The position is part-time, with varying shifts during evenings, nights (awake service), and weekends. Until the move, the workplace is easiest to reach by car, as public transport does not go all the way (the nearest bus stop is about 2 km away). From July, he will live in central Halmstad, which is easy to reach by both car and public transport.

We are looking for someone who is committed, respectful, and attentive. We would like you to have great patience and the ability to be personal while acting professionally.

• Able to tolerate pets

Extra plus if you have experience with epilepsy or have worked with low-arousal approaches – but it is not a requirement.

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Before a possible employment, you must be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden, by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
