Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is engaged and enjoys working at both a fast and slow pace. The assistance is varied and at times involves a lot of movement and activities. It is also important that you are attentive and have a responsible and respectful approach.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a man in his 30s living in Kungsbacka
• has worked as a personal assistant, or in healthcare and social care
• has a manual B driver's license
• has very good Swedish, both spoken and written

It is also advantageous if you:

• have experience with motor disabilities
• have experience with autism
• have experience with low-arousal approaches
• have experience with epilepsy
• have experience with alternative communication methods

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The positions are summer temporary contracts with an employment rate of approximately 100%. Work shifts are scheduled for daytime, evening, and nighttime (active night) during the period from week 27 to week 33.

We are looking for two people – one who works 07:00–19:00 and one who works 19:00–07:00.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that support your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
