The Social Administration works to provide support and help to children, young people, families, and individuals with disabilities or dependency problems. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to help develop our housing at Gathenhielmsvägen 44 and 46?

Along with the team, you provide the residents with individually tailored support in their home environment, daily life, and leisure. The work is based on a pedagogical and salutogenic approach focusing on the individual's development opportunities. You have a specific task to support users in finding strategies to manage their everyday and professional lives as well as their contacts in various social contexts.

Co-planning takes place between the units where the work is aimed at the target group, individuals with autism as their primary diagnosis. You are a driving force in the pedagogical work of the organization and have a mentoring function for colleagues regarding planning, follow-up, documentation, and goal fulfillment. We consciously work with a good approach perspective and a low-arousal response.

You participate as basic staff in the everyday work and have a central role in the quality development of the organization. Working with us means being involved in the daily work of developing the organization regarding communicative methods, routines, and a shared approach. The work involves actively participating in the varied tasks that include everything from pedagogical support in everyday life, networking, documentation, and evaluation, as well as providing support in common household tasks such as laundry, cooking, cleaning, etc.

In your role, you will:

• Actively drive the process regarding documentation and methods
• Be responsible together with respective contact staff for ensuring that network meetings regarding individual tenants are conducted and that implementation plans are established and followed up.
• Be part of a network with other support pedagogues and method supporters
• Be involved in the daily work
• Ensure users' routines and action plans.
• Actively work with protective and restrictive measures
• Provide pedagogical guidance for your colleagues
• Maintain existing working methods and be attentive to the need for new working methods.
• Be responsible for driving the pedagogical work of the organization

We place great importance on personal suitability.

Working hours are primarily daytime/evening, but occasional weekends may occur based on the needs of the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants should have a pedagogical university education or KY/YH education in the field with a secondary care education as a foundation and with experience deemed suitable for the assignment by the employer. Attach grades with your application.

You are clear in your communication and can work methodically and pedagogically. You must be able to work independently and structured, take your own initiative, and contribute to the further development of working methods. You should also promote mutual exchange of experiences with the network around housing.

Great emphasis is placed on qualities such as collaboration skills, creativity, responsiveness, and personal suitability. It is advantageous if you have experience working as a support pedagogue within LSS with the target group with various disabilities such as autism, intellectual disabilities, and challenging behavior. It is also advantageous to have worked with insulin delegation.
