Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (The Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

Our client is a social and active woman living in Vinberg with a great interest in gardening and animals. When the opportunity arises, she enjoys traveling to concerts and musicals.

The role of a personal assistant requires a good ability to create trusting relationships, as the job involves providing support in everyday life with all that it entails. Therefore, we are looking for a social and forward-thinking person who enjoys participating in gardening, appreciates engaging in various activities, and likes to go on outings.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following:

• wants to work with a woman in her 40s living in Falkenberg
• has a B driver's license and access to a car to easily reach the client
• can work in a household with both a dog and a cat
• is non-smoking
• has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

It is also an advantage if you:

• have previous experience in care and support
• have experience with mobility impairments
• have experience with respiratory aids

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

We are looking for two personal assistants for summer temporary positions at approximately 50%. The position involves working during the day, evening, and night with varying hours that can be combined and adjusted to some extent. Please note that the scheduling includes split shifts and 8 hours of on-call duty during night shifts.

The temporary position is scheduled from week 26 to week 33 and includes work on both weekdays and weekends.

Working hours: 09:00–16:30, 18:00–20:00, and 23:00–07:00 (8 h on-call).

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that support your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as an employer are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you will need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a possible employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
