Kooperativet Hand i Hand is a member-driven organization established in 1995 for individuals entitled to assistance. Our members are located in Skåne, Halland, southern Småland, Västra Götaland, Stockholm, and Jämtland. We have offices in Halmstad, Hässleholm, and Malmö. We support our members with everything from applying for hours with the Social Insurance Agency/muncipality to personnel issues regarding personal assistants. We believe that the work of a personal assistant is one of the most important jobs there is, as it provides an opportunity for another person to live their life like everyone else.

I am a nearly 4-year-old girl living north of Varberg with my family. I have assistance around the clock and am now looking for an engaged night assistant for my assistance team. Could it be you?

Since I have limited communication, you need to be attentive to me and my needs. As my assistant, I hope you are secure in yourself and are used to working awake at night. I would prefer that you have experience with personal assistance or epilepsy, but it is not a requirement. The most important thing is that we enjoy each other's company and that you have the willingness to get to know me.

I am looking for someone interested in working about every other weekend on a rotating schedule and who can work more during the summer when my regular assistants are on vacation. During the summer, it would be good if you can also work weekdays.

The regular position:

Currently, the work shifts are from 20:00 to 08:00, but for the right person, we can adjust both the working hours and how many weekend shifts you work. Please mention in your application if you are interested in working the entire weekend from Friday to Sunday or just parts of the weekend.

Approximately 30% - 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
Approximately 50% - 3 weekend shifts every other weekend
