Background

We are looking for an experienced Compensation & Benefits Specialist for a consulting assignment based in Gothenburg with the possibility of 50% remote work.

The assignment runs from April 14, 2025, to March 31, 2026.

Responsibilities

As a Compensation & Benefits Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that the organization's compensation and benefits structure is competitive, fair, and aligned with the business goals. You will:

  • Conduct external market monitoring, benchmarking, and stay updated on laws, trends, and influencing factors within Compensation & Benefits.
  • Maintain and improve guidelines, governing documents, and working methods to ensure compliance with the organization's service model.
  • Utilize AI and other digital tools to streamline work processes.
  • Provide training and specialist support in Compensation & Benefits to HR and managers.
  • Be the product and process owner for all matters related to Compensation & Benefits.
  • Drive and contribute to projects and initiatives in the area.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure that compensation strategies support the overall business goals.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:

  • Relevant academic education, such as a bachelor's degree in HR or equivalent.
  • Solid experience in Compensation & Benefits, including payroll management, pensions, insurance, bonus structures, and other employee benefits.
  • Understanding of salary structures, job evaluations, and market comparisons.
  • Experience with HRIS and analytical tools for compensation and benefits.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with salary data, benefit costs, and market trends.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.
  • Ability to communicate complex compensation issues clearly and pedagogically.

  • Location: Gothenburg with the possibility of 50% remote work.
  • Assignment period: April 14, 2025 - March 31, 2026.
