Samhall is a unique company with an important social mission – to create meaningful jobs for people with disabilities. We are now looking for an engaged and development-oriented HR Generalist to join our wonderful HR team, who support and appreciate each other's differences. Our HR team consists of an HR Business Partner (HRBP) and 3 HR Generalists. You will report to the HRBP in the district, who is also a member of the district's management team. The district consists of approximately 1700 employees working in Gothenburg.
Your role
As an HR Generalist with us, you will play a central role in leading and developing the HR work in the district. You will work closely with managers and the HR team to ensure a unified culture, effective working methods, and compliance with policies and guidelines. The work also includes negotiations with trade unions on various personnel matters and driving salary processes.
Your main responsibilities:
- Support and coach managers in HR processes, leadership, workplace issues, and adjustments related to employees within Samhall's labor market policy mission.
- Support and coach managers in handling sick leave, rehabilitation, and preventive measures.
- Drive employee development through proactive training planning.
- Ensure good collaboration with the Employment Service, union representatives, and other partners.
- Contribute to a unified and effective HR operation throughout the organization through collaboration within HR and other departments.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with a strong desire to make a difference and who is passionate about developing both people and organizations.
We believe you have:
- Several years of experience in qualified and operational HR work with good results.
- A university degree or equivalent knowledge in HR.
- The ability to work consultatively and coachingly.
- A development-oriented and proactive attitude.
- Good communication skills and experience in building strong relationships and networks.
- A positive attitude and belief in people's potential for development.
- Several years of leadership experience, preferably from the first line.
