Description

We are looking for an HR specialist who wants to work as support to managers in the organization while also working operationally and strategically with the prioritized business goals within the HR area.

As an HR specialist, you have a significant role where your everyday life is stimulating and no day is like the other. In this role, you provide managerial support in the organization and help develop the municipality into an attractive employer. HR issues have a natural and significant place in all operations, and the starting point for our work is the value words of the personnel policy: trust, responsibility, respect, and care.

The position is located in the Department of Children and Education, and your immediate supervisor will be the head of the department. You will partially work with departmental management and administrative functions such as investigation secretaries, economists, and more, and you will also collaborate with HR specialists in other departments as well as the HR manager and the municipality's health developers.

In Tanum municipality, the health developer has a valuable mission in the work with promotional and preventive measures, and the municipality stands out through its goal-oriented work in leadership development.

Responsibilities

The HR specialist works based on the organization's needs by actively offering and applying knowledge and experience in a service-oriented, professional, and consultative manner. You work broadly and independently across the entire HR area, providing managerial support in labor law issues, rehabilitation cases, workplace environment issues, and organizational development. Together with other HR functions, you participate in developing and implementing municipality-wide HR processes and working methods. Environmental monitoring is an important part of the work.

Qualifications and Personal Attributes

A suitable academic degree in the HR field is required for the position, along with good knowledge of labor law and very good skills in the Swedish language as both oral and written presentations occur. A few years of experience in HR work is meritorious, preferably within public operations.

You have a strong commitment to HR issues, are confident and accommodating in your interactions. To succeed in the role, you need to be driven by the opportunities for improvements in the organization. We would like you to have knowledge and experience in the application of laws and agreements as well as union collaboration. You find it easy to create contacts, have a strong service mentality, and take responsibility for your tasks.

A valid driver's license is required.

We Offer

The position is a parental leave substitute at 100% with a start date according to agreement. The substitute is for approximately one year, with the possibility of some extension. Recruitment is subject to the necessary decisions being made.
