The Business Development Unit in Tibro Municipality is looking for an engaged and driven Business Developer. As a Business Developer, you will become part of our team, which currently consists of a Business Manager and a Business Developer.

We are now seeking a temporary Business Developer, as the current colleague will be on parental leave. The temporary position runs until May 2026, with good opportunities for extension. We warmly welcome your application!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Business Developer, you will work to strengthen and develop the business community in Tibro. You will play a central role in creating and maintaining relationships with companies, organizations, and other stakeholders.

Your tasks will include:

• Coordinating and implementing activities and events, such as networking meetings, company visits, and public events like the Light Walk and Furniture Days.
• Leading and developing projects within the unit
• Strategically working with the communication of the Business Development Unit

The position is a parental leave cover. The temporary position runs until May 2026, with good opportunities for extension.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant education and/or experience in event management, arrangements, and project management
• Experience in destination or place development is an advantage
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Experience working with social media and enjoys working creatively with images and text.
• Driver's license (B)
