Senior Financial Controller

About the assignment

For our client in the industrial sector, we are now looking for an experienced and business-driven Financial Controller with a focus on manufacturing. You will play a key role in the financial monitoring of global costs, CAPEX, and manufacturing-related costs (COGS), with responsibility for reporting, analysis, and communication with various stakeholders within the group.

Your main responsibilities

• Responsible for monthly financial reporting and analysis to group functions (e.g., FP&A and accounting)
• Prepare consolidated results and forecasts for operations reviews
• Support the business together with the Business Controller
• Consolidate and analyze forecasts/budgets in the Konstrukt tool
• Responsible for accruals, capitalization, and hourly cost calculations
• Ensure delivery of financial documentation to group accounting in connection with the year-end closing
• Support internal and external audits and ensure SOX compliance
• Ad hoc analyses and cost activities

Competence requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in financial controlling, preferably within the industrial or automotive sector
• Good knowledge of IFRS, SAP, AARO Excel, and business analysis tools
• Ability to plan and coordinate work independently and in teams
• Experience in handling ad hoc requests and prioritizing accordingly

Team & reporting

You will report to the Controlling Manager and become part of a team of about 10 people who control R&D, Production, Purchasing, Design, and Investments. Location: Gothenburg Assignment period: Immediate start – August 31, 2025 Remote work: On-site in Gothenburg
