HR Specialist in Recruitment, Training, and HR Administration

The Supply Management Administration is a department within the Västra Götaland Region. The operations are conducted throughout Västra Götaland, focusing on supply and logistics to the region's various activities. We develop and deliver services including meals, laundry, pharmaceutical-related products, and aids, as well as storing and distributing products.

We are now looking for an HR specialist for our HR unit, focusing on recruitment and training and HR administrative tasks.

With us, you will have the opportunity to develop in an exciting role where you, together with your colleagues in the HR unit, support the organization's managers and employees. The HR unit consists of 8 people in various roles, including one HR manager, two HR strategists, three HR partners, and two HR specialists.

The position is located in central Gothenburg at Regionens hus, near the Central Station, where we work in modern activity-based premises.

Responsibilities

As an HR specialist, you will be offered an independent and varied role within our HR unit.

Your role includes supporting managers with recruitment processes in our recruitment system Varbi, where you handle recruitment requests together with the recruitment HR specialist. You will write job advertisements based on incoming requirement profiles, administer our recruitment system Varbi, and provide support in our digital reference checking system, Refapp. You will also work with selection and recruitment processes, primarily for the recruitment of kitchen assistants, laundry assistants, service workers, and warehouse workers, as well as coordinate our recruitment process for summer substitutes. Other tasks include administering employment documentation, monitoring priority rights according to LAS, and other HR administrative tasks.

Competence development is an important part of our competence supply, where we continuously work to develop our employees' skills. In our learning portal, various competence development initiatives are administered and coordinated, including both on-site training and digital courses. You will act as a course host during on-site training organized by the HR unit. You will also participate in producing online training, from idea to finished production. Follow-up and evaluation of competence development initiatives are a natural and continuous part of the work. Furthermore, you will be responsible for support, user assistance, and system training for these processes and functions.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a university degree, preferably in HR, or another post-secondary education deemed equivalent. To succeed in this role, we see that you have prior experience working with recruitment, HR administrative, and/or training administrative tasks. Since the role involves close contact with both managers and colleagues, you need to have good collaboration skills and be able to express yourself very well in both speech and writing. You have experience working in digital systems for recruitment and learning. You should have good IT skills and find it easy to work with and learn new systems.

As a person, you have a structured and solution-oriented approach to work. You have the ability to manage several processes simultaneously and ensure good quality in the tasks you deliver. You have a good sense of service and, through your engagement, build trust. In your communication, you are open and clear, with a good ability to collaborate with others. Since the work is largely independent, we see that you are responsible and strive to streamline and improve in a way that benefits all parts of the organization.

Location: Regionens hus in Gothenburg. Travel may occur within Västra Götaland. Where possible, we prefer to use public transport for travel.
