About the Department

The Development Unit is part of Area 1 (Drottning Silvias Children's Hospital and the combined women's healthcare) at Sahlgrenska University Hospital. Most of the area's operations are located on the Östra hospital site, but we also have operations on the Sahlgrenska site and in external premises. The area consists of nine operational areas and has about 2,500 employees.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who wants to work as a business developer with a particular focus on digitalization. As a business developer, you will report directly to the operational manager at the area level. You will have primary contact with one operational area but will also collaborate with other business developers and support functions in the area. You will also be part of a hospital-wide collaboration with business developers specializing in digitalization. Based on established goals, you will drive, implement, and coordinate the development of the operations' work with digitalization, while also working on broader business development issues. The role of business developer offers excellent opportunities to deepen knowledge in digitalization and systematic quality work.

About You

We are looking for someone with relevant education at the university or college level. You have documented training in quality-driven business development and experience in digitalization work within healthcare. Education related to digitalization in healthcare is an advantage. You also have experience in driving improvement work and leading projects.

Your focus is on those we serve; you have a good understanding of systems and can translate goals and visions into concrete actions. You enjoy working in teams, have experience leading groups, but are also comfortable working independently. You have strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
