JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are Gothenburg! Now we need you who are innovative, forward-thinking, and have a desire to utilize new technologies, standards, and working methods in digital preservation and information strategy.

The HR operational area provides IT support within the HR field to the City of Gothenburg's administrations and companies. In the role of business developer, you will coordinate the work with information management of the data that exists within the city's HR services. You will support the organization in matters related to digital preservation and archiving. At the same time, you are expected to explore the possibilities of using AI and automation within the HR field, for example, to ensure data quality and enable further digitalization.

Digital preservation should be an integral part of the management of our services. This means that you will lead the work with inventory and assessment of the current state as well as lifecycle planning of the various HR systems. Together with management leaders and other functions, you will ensure compliance with the laws and regulations that exist in the archival area as well as adherence to GDPR. You will have the support of engaged business experts in the HR field and support from the management's archival function.

You will be employed as a business developer and belong to the HR Service Development unit. The unit works to create conditions for sustainable and secure digitalization of the HR services that Intraservice offers to the city's various administrations and companies. Your tasks may vary over time and may to some extent be tailored to your areas of interest within the framework of the position.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a university degree that we assess as relevant, for example, in information management, law, or computer science. You have also worked in the intersection between business and IT and have experience working with digital information management, preferably within public administration. Since the work involves change initiatives and the establishment of new routines, you need to have experience in planning, implementing, and following up on change work or projects.

Knowledge in the following areas is considered meritorious:

  • preservation and archiving of digital information
  • HR systems and understanding of how information within the HR field is managed and stored
  • quality assurance and lifecycle management of data
  • relevant legislation such as the Archives Act, the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act, and the General Data Protection Regulation.

As a person, you are change-oriented and can engage and motivate others to follow new routines and processes, as well as collaborate with parties such as the Regional Archive and administrations and companies within the city. You are solution-oriented and interested in learning new things while being able to tackle problems as they arise together with colleagues. You can analyze complex information and propose solutions that are practically feasible.

Your working method is structured and well-organized. You are proactive and encourage dialogue, participation, and engagement. You are skilled at communicating and can explain problems and provide information to different recipients and from different perspectives. You can see your work as part of a larger context and understand how it affects and is affected by other parts of the organization.
