The mission of the Culture and Leisure Administration
The mission of the Culture and Leisure Administration is to promote a rich culture, leisure, and outdoor life for and together with the residents of Uddevalla and visitors, in order to strengthen democracy, public health, and the municipality's attractiveness.
We create conditions for a meaningful leisure time for everyone, without performance requirements. Our activities are influenced by our contemporary society and environment, which places high demands on the continuous development of our operations to meet the needs and wishes of our target groups.
About the workplace
You will work in a team in one of the administration's two units. Together, the units support the organization, primarily our managers. The units focus on strategic development issues, budget and planning processes, crisis management, committee administration, case management, governance and leadership, local supply, etc.
We now want to complement the team with additional expertise, preferably with experience in process management focusing on co-creation and organizational development with a focus on association and civil society issues.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who is driven, engaged, and passionate about organizational development. The position is partially focused on association and civil society issues, and you will work on planning, implementing, and providing support in co-creation processes and dialogues. Therefore, we see it as relevant that you have experience and knowledge of the conditions of civil society and/or co-creation process management.
To succeed in this role, we believe that you:
- have competence and experience in process and/or project management
- have good knowledge and understanding of the conditions of civil society
- are self-driven and enjoy working in a team
- have experience working in a politically governed organization
- have good analytical skills and a strategic perspective
Job responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage issues related to associations and the civil society
- Lead and conduct investigations within the culture and leisure sector
- Consult and support development work in our operations and management group
- Contribute with your colleagues to develop new working methods, processes, and methods for continuous development in our organization and operations
- Manage and analyze data to ensure the quality of our operations
- Monitor the external environment
Qualifications
You should have an academic degree in a relevant field for the position. You should have experience in qualified investigation and/or development work.
It is an advantage if you have experience working in a politically governed organization. It is also an advantage if you have experience from the association sector.
