JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a controller who wants to create added value for our organization and support the managers in their financial responsibilities. You play an important role in guiding and supporting the managers in their financial duties, developing processes, and together with other controllers and the CFO, driving effective financial management that ensures sustainable economics over time.

Your overall responsibility is to ensure that Familjebostäder maintains good financial control, including continuously monitoring and analyzing the units' finances and key figures, as well as supporting the management units in their financial responsibilities. You will also be involved in monthly closings within your area of responsibility. This responsibility also includes monitoring the properties' finances and key figures and identifying and working with deviations and improvements.

Your work focuses on promoting business acumen by working proactively and guiding managers in budgeting and forecasting, monitoring and analyzing revenue and cost flows, and identifying possible optimizations and improvements. You also have system management responsibility for the monitoring system Hypergene and collaborate with other controllers for an effective system.

You will be involved in the overall reporting to the group and collaborate with other controllers on company-wide tasks such as valuation, development projects, and more. As a controller with us, you work to strengthen the organization within the financial area. This may involve conducting training, developing guidelines and instructions based on needs, and participating in collaboration groups within the group.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have an academic degree in finance or equivalent education and several years of work experience as a controller or equivalent in a larger organization that has handled large volumes of financial transactions. Professional experience as a controller in a real estate company is advantageous.

Your previous work experience as a controller should have involved supporting managers in their financial responsibilities and conducting performance follow-ups. You have also worked with the budgeting and forecasting process and monitoring the properties' finances. You have experience and good knowledge of working with modern financial and monitoring systems. Previous experience in developing and quality assuring financial processes and decision support systems is advantageous.

To perform your tasks, you need excellent skills in Excel and other Office programs. For this position, it is required that you master Swedish, both spoken and written. It is advantageous if you have experience with the programs Agresso, Proceedo, and Hypergene.

You are analytical and have the ability to see connections and draw conclusions from complex information. You work structured and proactively with a focus on quality and delivery within deadlines. You have the ability to create good relationships and are a clear and good communicator, adapting your communication to the recipient and situation, and are confident in your arguments and deliveries. You also take the initiative for improvements and development and act according to the common mission.

OTHER

As a controller, you belong to the finance department, which consists of the units controller, accounting, rental administration, and purchasing. You will belong to the group of controllers, which consists of three people and is led by the CFO. You report to the CFO, who is your immediate supervisor, but you will also report to the management team and the head of the administration within your area. In your role, you will be able to influence the development of financial management in the company and drive your areas of work independently while being part of a larger context in a group where you can exchange experiences and knowledge with similar roles.
