About Gothenburg RoRo Terminal

Gothenburg RoRo Terminal is located in the Port of Gothenburg at the mouth of the Göta River. Several vessels from various destinations in Europe call at the port regularly each week. Gothenburg RoRo Terminal specializes in RoRo and vehicle handling and is an important part of the Swedish import and export chain.

About the position

The Customer Service Center is responsible for ensuring that both import and export goods pass through gate 6 correctly, taking into account Gtms, surveillance systems, Isps, and Customs. The role includes ensuring that drivers have the necessary information to drive, place, and pick up goods in the Gothenburg RoRo Terminal area. Responsibility for passengers and continuous contact with Customs, shipping companies, freight forwarders, and carriers is also part of the role, as well as quality assurance of goods information in Gothenburg RoRo Terminal's production system.

Examples of tasks:

• Actively work with new users of e-service and permanent cards.
• Registration of customs documents and reporting to Customs.
• Send customer communications to relevant customers via Apsis.
• Be responsible for communication with freight forwarders, drivers, and other visitors at the terminal regarding access to the terminal and delivery/pickup of goods.

The position is a summer temporary position from June to August. The workplace is located at Port Entry in Hisingen.

Working hours are variable, distributed on weekdays day/evening between 06:45-20:15 and weekends 10:45-19:15.

About you

As an employee at the Customer Service Center, you are the face of Gothenburg RoRo Terminal for a large part of the business, so we see that you enjoy customer contact and are passionate about delivering quality and efficient service. If you are also analytical, attentive, have the ability to see the customer's needs, and can handle complicated situations, we see this as a significant plus. It is also beneficial if you have insight into customs regulations regarding temporary storage.

Requirements for the position

• High school education with a focus on economics/administration/logistics or equivalent documented knowledge.
• Experience in service and a background in roles involving significant customer contact.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Mobile Consultant:

You are employed by us at DFDS Professionals but work at our clients' sites.
