Cultural Administration is Hiring an Operations Coordinator

The Cultural Administration works for a free, rich, and strong cultural life throughout Västra Götaland. We promote, support, and develop the cultural life of Västra Götaland together with municipalities, civil society, and other actors. The Cultural Administration provides staff support to the region's cultural political bodies: the Cultural Committee and the Board for Cultural Development. About the Position

Do you want to help strengthen the operations at Vitlycke Museum and Lödöse Museum? The Cultural Administration is looking for an Operations Coordinator to contribute to enhancing our operational processes moving forward.

In close collaboration with the unit manager, you will play a key role in the efficiency and results of the operations through a development-oriented approach.

The focus areas of the position will follow the multi-year planning and needs of the operations.

Vitlycke Museum is a knowledge and visitor center for the World Heritage Site of Tanum and plays an active role in the development of the World Heritage both locally and internationally. Adjacent to the museum is the most famous rock carving in Scandinavia – Vitlycke Rock. Our operations offer a variety of activities and experiences.

At Lödöse Museum, we bring the Middle Ages to life through exhibitions, events, and educational programs. We work with museum collections, consulting, and research in areas such as the Middle Ages, archaeology, and cultural history.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate current processes to identify areas for improvement
• Develop and implement new needs-driven working methods and processes
• Conduct planning and follow-up

We Are Looking for Someone Who Has

• Relevant higher education in the subject areas of the operations or organizational development or similar
• At least 3 years of experience in operational management or business development
• Documented experience in leading change processes
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate analysis into practical solutions
• Strong communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams

You will have both Lödöse Museum, Lilla Edet Municipality, and Vitlycke Museum, Tanum Municipality as your workplaces, which requires flexibility and a driver's license. You will be based at either Vitlycke Museum or Lödöse Museum. The work is performed operationally on-site at our museums.
