Studieförbundet Vuxenskolan (SV) is one of Sweden's largest study associations and is present in all municipalities across the country. We are passionate about folk education and believe in everyone's right to learn and develop, regardless of background. We are now looking for a payroll administrator who wants to be part of our wonderful team!
About the Role
As a payroll administrator, you will have a varied role where you manage the entire payroll process from start to finish. You will independently handle payroll for several departments each month and support managers with various payroll issues. With us, you will be part of a competent and friendly team of five people. We are located in newly renovated, bright offices in Uddevalla, and you will belong to the finance unit at our head office.
Working as a payroll administrator involves the following tasks:
- Managing the entire payroll process – from registering documentation and file transfers to handling discrepancies, travel expenses, new hires, and final salaries.
- Reconciliation according to the annual payroll calendar.
- Managing contractual insurances, including correct documentation and monthly reporting.
- Support for managers and employees in payroll matters and certain collective agreement issues.
- Other payroll administration, such as updating procedures, writing certificates, handling income inquiries, and reporting to SCB.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who has:
- Relevant education in payroll administration or finance.
- Experience working with payroll systems – advantageous if you know Flex HRM and Flex Payroll.
- Good knowledge of Office 365.
- Good knowledge of the Annual Leave Act, Working Hours Act, and other relevant legislation.
- Experience working with and interpreting collective agreements.
To thrive in this job, it is important that you enjoy working independently and in an organized manner, while also being able to prioritize when necessary. Payroll work involves deadlines, and we prefer that you are motivated to work within timeframes. You will have contact with various departments across the country, which requires good communication skills, attentiveness, and integrity. You enjoy providing good service and delivering solutions.
It is important that you want to contribute to a good collaborative climate and community - we work together! If you have previous experience working in a team, that is a plus. Of course, you share our values where we advocate for everyone's equal rights and opportunities.
We Offer You
- A job in an organization that makes a difference in society and its citizens through folk education.
- A meaningful job where you are truly important to those working in the organization.
- A workplace where we support each other and develop together.
- Goal-oriented working hours with flexibility regarding both working hours and workplace.
- Wellness allowance and wellness activities during work hours.
