We are now looking for an accounting assistant for our client for a one-year assignment starting immediately.

About the assignment

We are currently seeking an accounting assistant in Gothenburg who can start immediately. This is a consulting assignment through us at Bemannia that lasts for a period of 1 year. You will be located centrally in Gothenburg and work during office hours.

Your responsibilities

• Manage the company's ongoing accounting and bookkeeping as well as establish ongoing bookkeeping such as cash bookkeeping and accounts payable
• Perform ongoing financial work according to established routines, such as registration of incoming invoices and final booking of supplier invoices, reconciliation of supplier payments, and registering and controlling incoming and outgoing payments.
• Administer bank accounts and ensure ongoing records of these
• Participate in year-end closing tasks and audit issues
• Ensure compliance with laws, policies, and regulations governing the group
• Drive and be part of the finance function's change work and work towards continuous improvements
• Participate in general tasks within the organization

Your qualifications

• High school education with a focus on economics
• Basic knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping
• Experience working in accounting systems
