About the assignment and the person we are looking for

We are looking for a self-driven and business-oriented HR Consultant focused on supporting a new operational business in its startup phase. You will be the local HR resource while also being part of an international People team consisting of 3–4 members. The role is hands-on and suits you if you thrive close to the business, have experience in environments with both blue-collar and white-collar workers, and want to contribute to a project with a high pace of change.

This is an 8-month assignment starting in early May 2025, with good opportunities for extension or employment. The work is based in Gothenburg and requires on-site presence 3 days a week.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide business-oriented HR support to managers within operational activities
• Drive and support the entire employee journey: onboarding, recruitment, introduction, work environment, performance
• Support and contribute to processes related to acquisitions, transfers, and organizational changes
• Work closely with the Operations Manager on-site, as well as collaborate with HR colleagues internationally
• Ensure that all HR management is conducted in accordance with Swedish labor law and applicable collective agreements
• Participate in and independently drive union dialogues and negotiations, as well as manage labor law matters
• Ensure quality in data, processes, system support, and reporting related to HR
• Contribute to a good culture and safe work environment during growth and change

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in broad HR work, preferably as HRBP or HR Specialist
• Experience from industry, logistics, retail, or manufacturing
• Previously participated in acquisitions, mergers, or major organizational changes
• Deep knowledge of Swedish labor law, collective agreements, and restructuring
• Experienced in handling blue-collar personnel, preferably in a union environment
• Good communication skills in both Swedish and English, verbally and in writing
• High system proficiency and good structure in work
• Resident in the Gothenburg area, as the role requires high on-site presence
