The City Planning Administration is responsible for driving and coordinating the physical planning of Gothenburg. We contribute to creating a sustainable city for current and future generations. Our mission includes responsibilities for strategic planning, detailed planning, land surveying, building permit management, and providing geographic data. Approximately 450 people work within the administration.
The City Planning Administration is part of the urban development administrations in Gothenburg City. Together, we work to create conditions for a functioning infrastructure, housing, and quality premises, an inviting public environment, and strive for the city to be sustainable from all perspectives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The case management unit at the City Planning Administration is responsible for ensuring a secure and long-term information supply as well as administering and quality assuring the case and committee processes. The unit consists of, in addition to committee secretaries, case controllers, archivists, and two development leaders in information management and information security.
In the role of committee secretary at the City Planning Administration, you will be responsible, together with our other committee secretary, for the committee's case management. This includes tasks such as registering cases, compiling and sending out notices, writing minutes, and dispatching decisions, etc. The assignment also includes monitoring that cases are brought up for decision and quality reviewing the decision documents for the committee. You will have close contact with our elected representatives and with case handlers, managers, and employees in the administration to ensure a well-functioning committee process. As a committee secretary, you are expected to contribute to developing and improving case management in the administration through continuous work on simplifications, efficiencies, and increased quality.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with a university degree in law, political science, public administration, or another education that the employer deems equivalent. You have at least one year of work experience as a committee or municipal secretary and have work experience and good knowledge of administrative law as well as public access and confidentiality legislation. You have a good ability to express yourself both verbally and in writing, and possess good IT skills. Experience with the case management system Ciceron and knowledge of the Planning and Building Act is an advantage.
As a person, you are responsible, communicative, and service-oriented. You enjoy taking responsibility, solving problems, and communicating clearly. You are structured, organized, and ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
OTHER
