Accountant for Nordic Consulting Company

ABOUT THE POSITION

The client is a Nordic consulting company specializing in Business Technology and digital transformation. Their expertise lies in helping organizations streamline their operations by combining technology, leadership, and change management. With over 700 experts in the Nordics and operations in several countries, they offer solutions in IT strategy, platforms, change management, and agile methodologies.

We are currently looking for an accountant for a wide range of accounting and financial administration tasks, including monthly and annual closings, payroll management, project administration, and reporting.

What We Offer

• A consulting assignment starting in May
• A parental leave cover running until August 2026
• A position at 80%
• A remote position, 1 day a week at the office centrally located in Gothenburg

RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Duties

• Accounting and closing: Including balance sheet reconciliations, monthly and annual closings.
• Payroll and personnel administration: Manage payroll reporting to an external payroll administrator.
• Accounts receivable
• Project administration/Project follow-up.
• External reports: Prepare and submit external reports to authorities and other relevant entities.
• System administration: Ensure correct data management and updates in internal systems.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has an education in finance/accounting
• Has experience in accounting, payroll management, and financial systems
• Has a good understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles including VAT reporting, etc.
• Is fluent in Swedish and English as both languages are used daily
• Has the ability to work independently (mostly remote work) and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience with international transactions and working with foreign companies.
