One of the Army Staff's focus areas is to build the new army. An army that focuses on capability in the field and in this builds new as well as restructure existing units. The Army Staff develops and manages the army's war units and subordinate units and schools.
The above combined with the continued establishment of the Army Staff as a cohesive force makes the tasks very varied, developing, and dynamic. We are all solution-focused and take our tasks and responsibilities with great commitment where everything for the army is our driving force.

TVK Mark
The Technology and Maintenance Office Mark (TVK Mark) is part of the Armament Department, which belongs to the Army Staff (AST). AST is a separate organizational unit within the Armed Forces. TVK Mark is responsible for ensuring that the material is managed so that the required availability and performance are maintained. This includes material maintenance, modifications, and planning material utilization including related economics.
About the Position
- You are responsible for planning your own work.
- The work is complex with several parallel tasks at the same time.
- You will attend the training necessary for your position.
- Health and fitness during working hours is a mandatory task.
- The work involves a fair amount of travel and overnight stays.
- You will have many contacts and meetings within the Armed Forces, with the defense industry, and the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV). Both digital and physical.
- You will be part of a group where we work together, with different areas of responsibility.
- We work a lot in Excel and SAP.
- The working hours are office hours, and we apply flexible working hours.
Main Responsibilities
- Within configuration, you decide on the introduction of modifications and upgrades. You are the Armed Forces' representative during the supplier's tests of new and upgraded products. We see an increase in apps and software in our systems, and you will be responsible for configuration management of these. You need to have a good understanding of how IT works. You issue Technical orders to implement changes and updates in existing systems and follow up to ensure they are carried out.
- Within systems security, you work to ensure that our systems are secure for both the user and from a military perspective.
- You handle and follow up reports on faults and deficiencies in systems and materials.
- As TDL, you have an important role in the work of developing system goal-setting documents and requirement elements.
Qualifications
- Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English
- High school diploma
- Driving license B
Meritorious
Experience in:
- Project management
- Requirements specification
- Procurement
- ILS work
- Having held the role of Technical Manager or Product Manager
Personal Qualities
Social competence and work ethic are important; we put the group first and help each other. In the group, we work within our own areas, so you need to have your own drive and be able to take your own initiatives, but also be able to ask for help when you get stuck. Working in our group is fun; we enjoy each other's company at work and joke and laugh together. Having self-distance and being unpretentious are important qualities to fit into the group. An authority has complex administrative regulations and processes, which means you need to be meticulous and have a certain degree of patience. The position is administrative, with a lot of technical documentation. It is important to understand the equipment you are responsible for on a general level. Technical knowledge is a prerequisite for solving the tasks. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities and suitability for the position.
