About the Role

As a tourist information officer, your main task is to ensure that our visitors feel welcome in Bengtsfors Municipality and the Dalsland landscape. You will work at the tourist office located in the Cultural and Educational Center at the library in Bengtsfors urban area. The main task is to inform about our attractions, sights, and events. This will be done through personal meetings as well as via email and phone.

Your main tasks:

• Provide information and tips to tourists about local attractions and activities
• Collaborate with local businesses and tourist attractions to create inspiring experiences
• Keep the tourist information updated and well-organized
• Collaborate with library staff

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is social, flexible, and service-oriented. You have good communication skills and speak fluent Swedish and English. If you can also communicate in more languages, that is a plus. Your passion for Bengtsfors and its surroundings is contagious, and you have a positive attitude that makes visitors happy. Experience from similar roles or the tourism sector is an advantage.

The position is a temporary part-time employment during the summer of 2025. We will hire two tourist information officers.
