About the Role and Your Responsibilities

As a teacher at Spyken, you will teach Swedish and English.

Your responsibilities include planning, conducting lessons, evaluating, mentoring, and other usual tasks for teachers.

We are looking for you

We are looking for someone who is genuinely interested in teaching Swedish and English and who wants to develop Spyken together with our students and colleagues. You are qualified to teach Swedish and English at the upper secondary level. It is an advantage if you have experience teaching in upper secondary school or the higher grades of primary school.

You have excellent knowledge in your subjects and are committed to teaching and learning. You have experience working towards set goals, are proactive and flexible, and find it easy to collaborate. You are a structured and positive leader who sets clear boundaries and has the ability to create good relationships with students and colleagues. We place great importance on personal qualities and value your ability to meet students based on their knowledge and needs.

Gymnasieskolan Spyken has approximately 1200 students distributed across the aesthetic program, humanities program, natural sciences program, and social sciences program. We are keen that both staff and students feel involved in everything related to the operation.
