Your Role with Us

As an Audit Assistant, you will work in several teams with qualified colleagues. The teams you work with are tailored to meet specific requests and expectations from our clients within the segments of small and medium-sized enterprises, municipalities, and regions. Together with your colleagues, you will gain an understanding of your clients' operations - including risks as well as opportunities.

An audit includes many exciting components: from interviews with key personnel to reviewing company-specific processes, individual accounting items, and entire financial reports. We strive to stay at the forefront and develop our working methods, which requires constant adjustments to the latest technology and the environment in which we operate.

With increasing demands for sustainability reporting, auditing this information will also become a natural and important part of our audits in the long run. Sustainability information must be integrated into the management report of the annual report and audited by an auditor or external reviewer, which also provides you with opportunities to develop in this area.

Azets Acquires KPMG's Operations in Borås – Join Us on an Exciting Journey!

Azets is an international group providing services and advice in accounting, payroll, and HR. By summer, Azets Sweden intends to acquire KPMG Sweden's operations in audit, advisory, and tax services for small businesses, as well as parts of the operations for medium-sized enterprises in certain locations, including Borås. This also includes audit and advisory services for municipalities and regions. The acquisition means that Azets Sweden is establishing a local presence in over 30 cities.

We are looking for someone who has

• a university degree in economics, computer science, engineering, or equivalent and is fluent in Swedish and English.
• a keen interest in developing within advisory and auditing.

We consider it an advantage if you have:

• an educational focus on accounting or auditing.
• completed courses in sustainability, programming, or data analysis.
• good academic results.
• studied abroad.
• relevant work experience or other engagement outside of studies.

We are careful about who we choose to move forward with in this process and are therefore looking for someone who stands out in some way. Your degree and your merits outside of studies should clearly demonstrate drive and commitment in terms of academic results and commitments such as work or involvement in associations. Do you have experience working in any finance-related or service roles, perhaps alongside your studies or are you doing it full-time right now? Don't forget to include that in your CV - as it is something we consider highly valuable for this position.
