Job Description

We are looking for a driven and experienced controller who wants to help develop financial management within the municipal executive office. In this role, you will work alongside an experienced controller and be responsible for budgeting, monitoring, and forecasting for the municipal council, audit, election committee, and guardianship committee.

The work involves supporting managers in budget work as well as monitoring and analyzing both financial and operational information. You will be responsible for finance within certain departments/units and have overall responsibility for goal and operational management. This includes planning, analyzing, improving, and following up on the municipal council's operational plan and the municipal executive office's unit plans.

Your tasks also include supporting the management team and unit managers in developing templates related to operational management, giving presentations to the management team, and being responsible for reporting on operational and unit plans.

Mandatory Requirements

• Several years of experience working as a controller or economist with responsibility for budgeting, monitoring, and forecasting.
• Good knowledge of Office programs.
• Very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience working as a controller or economist within a municipality is an advantage.
