Kung Karl School is located in Kungsäter, about 35 kilometers northeast of Varberg. It is a F–6 school with approximately 80 students and an integrated after-school program, surrounded by a vast and picturesque natural environment. Together, they form the heart of this charming village.

After completing grade 6, students continue their education at Lindberg School for grades 7–9. Our students appreciate varied teaching and want the opportunity to influence how they present their knowledge. This is something that the autumn's work in the faculty will focus on.

Our students in the after-school program want a varied and challenging experience. Therefore, the after-school program will work on development in close collaboration with our development strategies, to strengthen teaching and activities based on the curriculum.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will teach English for grades 1-6 and Swedish in grade 6. You will work together with the school's large team for F&. Additionally, you will mentor some students, being responsible for their development and maintaining contact with their guardians.

Motivating and inspiring students is your greatest drive. Together with your colleagues, you will shape a relational leadership where the quality of teaching is the focus. We create the best possible meeting for learning.

As a teacher with us in Varberg Municipality, you have a central role in creating a safe, developing, and motivating environment for students. By planning, executing, and following up on your varied teaching, you provide students with the opportunity to develop both academically and socially.

Together with your colleagues, you will plan and follow up on teaching based on your choices of pedagogical and didactic strategies and methods, tailored to the students' needs and conditions, and grounded in science and proven experience. You meet each student in their knowledge progression and contribute to developing learning environments that encourage student learning, participation, and influence.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed teacher with qualifications to teach English and Swedish for grades 1-6.

As a teacher, you are engaged and have a formative approach with the ability to create motivating and activating teaching. Your teaching is based on proven experience and scientific foundations with an exploratory approach.

You thrive in collaboration with colleagues and actively contribute to developing the operations by planning and following up on teaching together. You have a good structure in your work and can adapt teaching based on students' needs and the school's goals. Together, we are responsible for creating a sustainable work environment where both students and staff feel good, can grow, and develop.
