JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Smörslätten 1 is a relatively newly built preschool with its own wooded area in the yard. The environments at the preschool are joyful and spark curiosity and a desire to learn. The preschool has a fun and challenging yard that invites various games and stimulates children's imagination. Our departments cater to children aged 1-5 years. We believe that mixed ages are the foundation of our values at the preschool.

As a preschool teacher, you will actively contribute to the preschool's pedagogical development together with your colleagues and help create a pedagogical environment that challenges and stimulates children's development and learning. Furthermore, you will provide safe care. At Smörslätten 1, we work thematically, where children's own interests and needs influence the activities.

As a preschool teacher with us, you will, together with the team, plan and participate in the daily activities according to the curriculum's goals and guidelines. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the pedagogical work with the children according to the preschool curriculum.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are an educated preschool teacher with, or awaiting, a license. If you are a newly graduated preschool teacher, you will receive a mentor upon your employment. The mentor is part of a central group and is tasked with helping you get a good start in your professional life with us.

We want you to gain energy from contributing to others' learning and creating conditions for others' learning to occur. We see that you have a good approach and show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role. It is also important that you are responsible and take charge of your and shared tasks. You work goal- and result-oriented and have the ability to translate the organization's goals into concrete actions. Above all, you see that children's needs are prioritized over adults.
