Stora Högaskolan is beautifully located in the middle of Stora Höga community between Hakefjorden to the west and Svartedalen to the east. The school is within walking distance of buses and trains. It is a K-9 school and the municipality's largest primary school with nearly 800 students.

Job Responsibilities

Teaching wood and metal crafts as well as technology for grades K-6. You will work with planning, implementation, and assessment of teaching, and you will be a mentor for a group of students. At the school, we systematically work with value-based education based on the curriculum Lgr22.

As a teacher with us, you will be part of a work team where you, together with colleagues, contribute to the school's development and strive to develop and achieve set goals.

You differentiate your teaching and create accessible learning environments for the group so that all students learn and develop. Working as a teacher is about constantly evolving based on the students we meet. You should have good pedagogical competence and be well acquainted with the primary school’s governing documents.

This is a fixed-term position at 100% during HT-25.

Qualifications

Applicants should be a licensed teacher in wood and metal crafts and technology or have acquired experience deemed equivalent by the employer. You see yourself as a strong pedagogical leader who is passionate about developing teaching.

You should have a working method where student influence and flexibility are a natural part. You are a good leader in the classroom with clarity in communication, goals, and results. You possess qualities that include both structure and creativity.

Great importance is placed on personal suitability and the ability to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.

It is important that you are secure in your professional role and that you are clear towards students, parents, and colleagues.
