Responsibilities

As a Teacher in leisure homes in Sotenäs municipality, you will play a central role in creating an inspiring and safe environment for our students.

Your responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating educational activities that promote children's development and learning. You will collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure a holistic view of each child's needs and interests. Furthermore, you will also:

• Design and lead educational programs that stimulate creativity and learning.
• Build relationships with students and create an inclusive atmosphere.
• Monitor and support students' social and emotional development.
• Participate in development work and contribute ideas to improve the operation.
• Actively promote collaboration and participation in the leisure home.
• Work with value-based initiatives and actively contribute to a positive and inclusive culture.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• Is an educated teacher in leisure homes or has relevant educational training.
• Has experience working with children and youth in educational contexts.
• Has a strong commitment to children's social development and enjoys building relationships.
• Is a creative and proactive person who can create meaningful activities.
• Has pronounced collaborative skills, both with colleagues and in relationships with children and parents.
• Ability to see the whole picture and create a coherent and meaningful leisure activity.
• Structured in your work and in your planning of the operation.
