About the workplace

Tingberg School is a F-6 school located in Lödöse, within walking distance from the commuter station and close to a bus stop.

We are directly adjacent to forest and nature, which we use daily. The school has about 400 students, and around 50 dedicated employees work here. Approximately 200 students are enrolled in the after-school program, divided into three departments.

The students are offered their own separate workspaces in their classrooms to create a good study environment. Each school year, we conduct extensive value-based work that the entire school participates in. Our student health services are active and student-centered, and we are characterized by a good physical and psychosocial work environment with clear structures and routines.

We have high expectations of both students and colleagues and believe that everyone can become as good as possible. By creating a supportive and challenging learning environment, where each individual's needs and abilities are taken into account, we strive for everyone to have the opportunity to develop and reach their full potential.

Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for 2 licensed teachers for grades 4-6 with qualifications to teach Swedish, Mathematics, English, as well as Social Studies, Natural Sciences, or Music.

You are a teacher who plans and conducts your teaching with a focus on preparing students for the next step in their learning development through guidance and stimulation. You see the learning assignment as crucial for students' success and work to ensure they reach their full potential. You have good collaboration skills and believe in developing teaching together with your colleagues. You value building good relationships with both colleagues, students, and guardians, and can adapt your leadership in the classroom to different situations. You are responsible and engaged in your work to provide students with the best possible education.

Qualifications

We are looking for you:

• who is a licensed teacher qualified to teach multiple subjects in grades 4-6.
• who has good experience from teaching in primary school.
• who has the ability to create safe and respectful relationships with students, which promotes a positive and stimulating learning environment.

You are structured and adapt your teaching to meet each student's needs. You are independent, proactive, and responsible, and have good social skills. You communicate effectively with both students and parents and work well in a team with your colleagues.

We are looking for someone who shows openness and a strong commitment to your teaching assignment and always strives to develop in your teaching to provide all students with the best possible support.
