JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The position involves working as a music teacher at Beringskolan and includes some teaching at an adapted primary school.

With commitment and enthusiasm, you create a safe learning environment for students based on mutual respect, collaboration, and stimulation for learning. You have good leadership skills and keep yourself updated on environmental monitoring and school development.

In collaboration with other staff, you strive to create a pleasant environment for both students and staff. You will use InfoMentor as a tool for documentation as well as for student and parent contacts.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed music teacher. We would also like you to be qualified in a secondary subject, such as Swedish, mathematics, or as a leisure teacher. You are used to working with a clear goal focus based on governing documents.

To succeed in the role, you need to build trusting relationships with your students and find it easy to collaborate with colleagues. You have engagement, enthusiasm, and a genuine interest in teaching. Furthermore, you are a confident pedagogical leader with the ability to critically analyze your work, good ability to use digital technology in teaching, and as a tool for information, planning, and documentation.

As a person, you are communicative, attentive, and well-acquainted with the ethical principles for teachers and have the ability to analyze and document students' abilities and knowledge.

To consider your application, you must attach your degree certificate and teaching license. If you are offered employment, a criminal record extract from the police is required according to the provisions in Chapter 2, Sections 31-33 of the Education Act.

A teaching license is required for the position. Personal suitability is of great importance.
