Guardian Administrator to Perstorp Municipality

The municipality has about 7,500 inhabitants and around 560 permanent employees. There is a strong business community in the municipality, and public health issues are high on the agenda.

Description

Since January 1, 2019, the municipalities of Bjuv, Klippan, Perstorp, and Åstorp have been collaborating through a joint guardianship committee.

Perstorp is the host municipality and holds both the chairmanship and the guardianship unit, which is responsible for the entire collaboration. The committee and the unit handle the statutory tasks assigned to the guardian in the cooperating municipalities.

The committee is a judicial authority in the first instance, and its main task is to supervise the activities of guardians, custodians, and administrators. There are high demands that the operations are conducted in a legally secure and professional manner. The unit handles about 1,000 cases annually. The unit currently consists of a guardian manager, three case workers, and an administrator.

Job Responsibilities

In the role of guardian administrator, you will work independently to investigate incoming cases and make decisions according to delegation regarding, for example, temporary guardianships and changes of representatives. As a guardian administrator, you will present cases before the committee and represent the guardian before the court and other authorities according to Chapter 12, Section 14 of the Code of Judicial Procedure.

The position includes reviewing financial reports as well as more varied tasks such as case handling, project-specific work, and recruitment of representatives.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained lawyer, social worker, or economist with a university degree of at least 180 credits.

It is an advantage if you have experience in:

• Accounting, financial reporting, year-end closing
• Guardian administration, authority exercise, or other legal application
• Work in a politically governed organization.
• System experience from the Wärna Go operational system.
