We are looking for a dedicated and service-oriented accounting assistant for a summer position in Trelleborg Municipality's central finance department and the Accounting & Finance unit. This is an excellent opportunity for you who are studying economics or have recently completed your education and want to gain experience in financial work within a public organization.

Job Responsibilities
The summer job as an accounting assistant with us means that you will handle:
- incoming matters within accounts receivable and accounts payable
- customer contact, providing good service via phone and email to our customers and suppliers
- incoming e-invoices from our suppliers, regular mail handling, and other administrative tasks within the finance department
- independent work with access to experienced and competent colleagues by your side in case questions arise
The work is relevant during weeks 27-34 (June 30 - August 24, 2025) according to the nearest weeks by agreement.
Qualifications
To be considered for the summer job as an accounting assistant, you have:
- an ongoing or completed post-secondary education with a focus on economics or equivalent, as assessed by the employer
- basic knowledge of finance and administration
- good computer skills and can easily familiarize yourself with work through email and financial systems
- good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, in order to understand and manage linguistic materials such as matters and customer contacts
We work in Microsoft 365 and the financial system Raindance, so if you have experience with that, it is an advantage, but not a requirement. Experience with similar tasks is also an advantage, but not a requirement.
You act service-oriented, have good communication skills in relation to those you meet, such as colleagues, customers, and suppliers. You focus on the right things, take responsibility for your tasks, structure your work approach, and drive tasks to completion. You collaborate well with those you meet, adapt to changing circumstances, and see opportunities in changes.
Working Hours/Duration
Full-time. Temporary employment during the summer. Some possibility of extension depending on the needs of the organization.
