Judge at Lund District Court

Lund District Court is a court with approximately 80 employees, including 13 permanent judges and five court clerks. The court is divided into a criminal unit, two civil units, and a support and security unit.

The court is centrally located in Lund, with close proximity to public transport. The jurisdiction of Lund District Court covers nine municipalities: Lund, Eslöv, Hörby, Höör, Landskrona, Lomma, Kävlinge, Svalöv, and Staffanstorp.

About the Position

As a judge at Lund District Court, you will be placed in one of the civil units but will also handle criminal cases on an ongoing basis. We strive to create as much predictability as possible regarding which hearings you will chair as a judge, as well as to be at the forefront of utilizing the opportunities offered by digital development. Qualifications

The work as an acting judge requires high legal skills, judgment, collaboration ability, work capacity, and independence. You who apply must meet the requirements set out in the Judicial Appointment Board's profile for permanent judges.

As a person, you are goal-oriented, collaborative, and want to engage in the court's development, together with others and for the benefit of the district court and Sweden's courts.
