As the Chief Financial Officer, you will lead an engaged team of two finance assistants and a production controller, responsible for the accounting in the Swedish companies. You will report to the CFO and work at the pleasant headquarters in Malmö.

Your main responsibilities and tasks

• Be responsible for, organize, and lead the year-end closing process so that the Swedish companies in the group report correctly and on time
• Drive the development of the year-end closing process
• Be responsible for and lead the handling of ongoing transactions and accounting
• Be responsible for the annual closing process and plan for improvements of processes and audits.
• Lead the budgeting process regarding the operating costs of the Swedish companies.
• Develop and lead personnel, processes, and routines within the finance department.
• Be a support and sounding board for other departments regarding financial issues and provide support with ad-hoc analyses.
• Be responsible for VAT reporting
• Tax reconciliation and declarations

Who are we looking for? To thrive and succeed in this role, we believe you are an educated economist or have a similar background, with experience from a similar role – preferably within a manufacturing company. You have leadership experience and are driven by seeing your employees grow and develop. Working with year-end closing and financial steering documents is a natural part of your daily routine. We are looking for someone who has a good ability to express themselves in both Swedish and English, in both speech and writing. You have an interest in systems and good knowledge of business systems, reporting tools, and Excel. Experience with Cognos and SAP is a plus.
