The Staffing Unit is a shared coordination function responsible for filling temporary vacancies within Östra Göinge Municipality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of staffing assistant, you will be the heart of our staffing process, ensuring that the right competence is in place at the right time through our booking system Medvind. Your contribution is crucial for our operations to run smoothly and efficiently. In your work, you will daily answer questions via phone and email to the operations and external customers.

You will conduct training in the system, manage scheduling questions, and administer the system. If necessary, you will also assist in the recruitment of intermittent substitutes.

QUALIFICATIONS

A completed high school education is required. It is advantageous if you have post-secondary education focused on personnel and payroll issues.

Good computer skills are a requirement; you need to be able to handle the Microsoft Office suite. It is a plus if you have previously worked with operational staffing or have experience with Medvind and Visma or another HR system, as well as knowledge of labor law and working time regulations.

To succeed in the role of staffing assistant, you need to be stress-resistant and able to work under periods of high workload, be cooperative, flexible, unpretentious, and have logical thinking. The job requires you to see solutions beyond the obvious and think outside the box. You are a team player with a good ability to collaborate and discuss with your colleagues. It is also important that you can work independently and feel comfortable communicating with colleagues and employees both through digital tools, phone, and in-person meetings.

A B driver's license is required as the job may require you to travel between locations within the municipality. It is also required that you can start your workday at your workplace at 06:30 several days a week. Since we are a small unit, we cover for each other during absences. You must also have a good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
