Besikta Bilprovning is looking for an experienced, engaged, and responsible Payroll Specialist who wants to be part of our competent HR team. As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a key role in payroll management and become an important part of our HR team. You will be responsible for the entire payroll process and ensure that salaries are handled correctly and paid on time for our 630 employees. Together with your colleagues, you will work on reconciliation, reporting, and quality assurance of payroll data and time reporting. You will ensure compliance with applicable agreements and laws and proactively drive the development and improvement of processes.

In addition to payroll administration, you will support managers with questions regarding salaries, compensation, working hours, and system support. You will play a key role in implementing and improving digital processes for more efficient payroll management. Depending on your experience and interest, there is also the opportunity to work on HR and payroll-related projects, such as benefits, rehabilitation, and pensions.

Main Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the entire payroll process and act as a superuser for both the payroll system and the HRM system.
• Ensure that system updates are carried out and that the systems function as they should.
• Administer the company's benefits, pensions, and insurances in accordance with the collective agreement.
• Review and control travel expenses, time reports, and absences, and handle the initial steps in rehabilitation.
• Be responsible for HR statistics and monthly reporting, including mandatory personnel statistics.
• Train and support managers and employees on issues related to salaries and benefits.
• Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Be responsible for the vehicle fleet, including handling mileage compensation and driving logs.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of various payroll and HRM systems.
• Experience in payroll management and HR administration.
• Understanding of applicable rules, laws, and policies in the payroll area.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Interest in improving processes and working with digitalization.
• Relevant education and possibly certification in payroll management or HR.

About the Position

The position is a permanent employment with an initial probationary period. It is full-time and located in Malmö at Besikta Bilprovning's headquarters in Valdemarsro, with the possibility of remote work on certain days. Start date is according to agreement, and selection will begin after the application deadline.

For over 50 years, the state-owned Bilprovningen had a monopoly on the Swedish market for vehicle inspections. When the market was deregulated in 2010, Besikta Bilprovning entered as a new player in vehicle inspections.

Besikta Bilprovning Sweden has a large station network with 200 stations in 164 locations across the country. The ambition is to become “your local vehicle inspection” and therefore we continue to expand into new areas.

We offer inspections of most types of vehicles, from cars and motorcycles to heavy vehicles such as trucks, buses, and trailers. In addition to the standard inspection, we also offer our customers extra safety checks through our additional packages, where we give your vehicle a thorough review beyond the ordinary.
