The Finance Department is responsible for supporting management and operations in matters related to healthcare economics, production, and investment needs. Our work contributes to quality care, and we strive to fulfill Skåne University Hospital's (Sus) vision of the best possible health at all stages of life. Within the Finance Department, we are about 70 employees.

The Research Finance Unit is part of the Finance Department, and the unit's primary focus is to provide professional research financial support to researchers and Sus managers. Currently, we have about twelve employees in the unit working as financial administrators and controllers.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We welcome a financial administrator to the Research Finance Unit in Malmö.

The financial administrator, together with the operational controller, forms the operational financial support regarding research grants and operational areas. In your work, you will support several operational areas, including monitoring research grants and associated reporting. You will also participate in the year-end closing process and provide expert support in the use of QlikSense research tools. Based on the financial annual wheel, you will independently plan and structure your work. A central role of the position is to have regular follow-up meetings with researchers and others in the organization working with research grants.

There is a lot happening in our field, and the position includes actively driving and participating in the development work within the research finance area.

The position is located in Malmö, but the work also requires presence in Lund.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in finance from a university or equivalent. The position requires work experience in finance and monitoring financial reports. You must speak and write Swedish fluently and have good knowledge of English. If you also have knowledge of a larger financial system, such as Raindance and QlikSense, we consider it an advantage. Previous experience in financial monitoring of research grants is also meritorious for the position.

Your personal qualities are of great importance for our organization's success, and to succeed in the role, you need to enjoy working independently and taking your own initiative. You have good communication skills and enjoy educating and sharing your expertise with both your colleagues and the organization as a whole. Additionally, it is important that you are service-oriented with good social skills. You find it easy to collaborate with others and build trusting relationships with people around you. Being flexible and able to shift focus depending on what needs to be prioritized is important for the assignment. Furthermore, you work in a structured and meticulous manner. It is also desirable that you are curious and driven to contribute to your own and the organization's continued development. Personal suitability is of great importance.
