Marenor is a leading seafood producer in the Nordic market and is part of the Norwegian seafood group Insula. We are brave, close, and committed to everything we do. This permeates everything from environmentally friendly fishing, flavorful products, our social responsibility, and relationships with our employees, customers, and suppliers. We deliver our flavorful products in the Nordics, the rest of Europe, and further out into the world. Our name Marenor gives a hint about our business; "mare" is the Latin word for sea and "nor" signals our Nordic origin. Marenor operates on the Swedish west coast, with factories in Kungshamn and Lysekil, as well as offices in Gothenburg and Stockholm.

The Insula group was established in 2015. Through our portfolio of strong and traditional companies, we gather and build a stable, interdisciplinary competence in the processing and sale of seafood. Our strategy is to be a complete supplier of seafood to the grocery trade and the catering market, with the Nordics as our home market.

Seafood is good for the body and good for the environment. Consumers choose seafood when it tastes good and is easy to prepare. That is what we will work for and through that make our society healthier and more sustainable. That is why we say: A better world through love for seafood.
