We are looking for a Compensation & Benefit Specialist for a global company in Gothenburg. Start is ASAP, 1 year limited contract to begin with.

Assignment description

External monitoring, benchmark and to be updated on the regulations, laws, trends and influences in the C&B area.

Create excellence by keeping our management system such as SharePoint, document system, guidelines and ways of working updated and improved to secure that we can follow our service model.

Work effectively using AI and other tools such as Copilots.

Provide training and specialist support in C&B procedures to People and Culture Business & Operations and managers.

Product and process owner for all that is related to C&B.

Continuous improvements within C&B.

Manage projects or be a contributor to projects and initiatives that you are assigned to.

Ensure that an organization's reward system is competitive, fair, and aligned with business objectives.

The job involves analyzing, designing, and implementing compensation and benefits programs to attract, retain, and motivate employees.

Company Involvement

This role requires close collaboration with various departments, ensuring alignment with company goals and active participation in internal projects.

Geographical Scope

Compensation & Benefit Specialist operates across global markets.

Technical Expertise

In-depth knowledge of compensation structures, benefits programs, and total rewards strategies to attract and retain top talent.

Key Decision Forums

Business decisions forums and meetings where Compensation & Benefits are discussed, evaluated, and approved by relevant stakeholders.

Key Collaborations

Works closely with HR, Finance, and leadership teams to ensure compensation and benefits strategies support business goals.

Skill requirements

  • Authority to approve, manage and resolve deviations from defined processes and owned products, taking corrective actions as needed within in C&B area.
  • Strategic influence over product and processes that is cross connected to C&B area.
  • Ability to analyze salary data, benefits costs, and market trends.
  • Ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Understanding budgeting and financial planning for compensation structures.
  • Awareness of local and international employment regulations.
  • Ability to explain complex compensation topics to employees and management.

Competence

Relevant educational background (e.g., bachelor’s degree in Human Resources).

Strong understanding of Compensation & Benefit area.

Experience

Experience in payroll and benefits administration, including pensions, insurance, bonuses, and other employee rewards. Knowledge of salary structures, job evaluations, and market benchmarking. Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and compensation analytics tools.

This role requires fluency in English and working knowledge of Swedish.

This is a full-time consultant position through Incluso in Gothenburg. Start is ASAP, 1 year limited contract to begin with. This role is 50% on-site in Gothenburg.
