Administrator for Land Agreements and Utility Locations

The Urban Environment Administration has a comprehensive responsibility for the city's public spaces and overall accessibility. We work to create accessible, attractive, and vibrant urban environments and natural areas. The administration owns and manages the tram network in Gothenburg. Approximately 900 people work at the administration.

The Urban Environment Administration is part of the urban development administrations in Gothenburg City. Together, we work to create conditions for a functioning infrastructure, quality housing and premises, an inviting public environment, and strive for the city to be sustainable from all perspectives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for an administrator for land agreements and utility locations for our Traffic Management unit at the Urban Environment Administration!

In the role of administrator, you will handle applications for charging locations and prepare the land agreements required when parties other than the administration perform work in public spaces. The work involves many contact points where you, at an early stage before work begins, collaborate with various units within the administration, other administrations, and various actors such as builders, the Swedish Transport Administration, property owners, and utility owners.

The work is varied with many different tasks where you need to work independently but also together with others. You will be an important function providing support to builders as well as our traffic regulators so they can maintain good service and contribute to ensuring good accessibility and a safe traffic environment for all modes of transport.

As an administrator, you are the administration's contact person and representative regarding questions related to land agreements. You support colleagues who work with monitoring land agreements and utility locations. In addition to external contacts and coordination/collaboration internally, you also have contact with other administrations within Gothenburg City. The role may also involve representing the Urban Environment Administration for other types of agreements, such as property law agreements and operation and maintenance agreements, among others. You will also participate in ongoing internal business development.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a college or university education focused on surveying, property law, urban development, or alternatively another education that the employer deems equivalent. The tasks require knowledge of property law and experience in practical contract management. However, we also welcome recent graduates in surveying or surveying engineering to apply for the position.

We want you to have knowledge and understanding of how land areas are used and how they are planned through, for example, detailed plans. We prefer that you have experience in land management with a focus on contractual and surveying issues. It is advantageous if you have previously worked with contract law and project planning. We value experience working in a politically governed organization.

To fit this role, you need to be driven, results-oriented, and have a good ability to plan and follow up on your work in an independent and effective manner. You enjoy working on multiple cases simultaneously. You have good communication skills and are service-oriented. You will work together with others both internally and externally, so it is important that you find it easy to make contact and build relationships. You express yourself well in Swedish both verbally and in writing as you will be handling legal texts. You see needs in the organization and take the initiative to implement improvements. You need to have good computer skills and hold a Class B driver's license.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
