What the role entails

The tasks involve working on the design of cabling and mechanical components for advanced electrical systems. This also includes close collaboration with system engineers, designers, and preparers to ensure high quality in system installation. You will participate in studies for the introduction of new features in existing products and contribute to the improvement and development of working methods within electrical installation and cabling design.

You will be part of a larger team that possesses broad knowledge in system installation, hull construction, strength, and production technology. Together, you drive projects forward and work cross-functionally to create the products of the future.

As the position involves work covered by defense secrecy, you are required to undergo and be approved in a security screening with a background check.

What we are looking for

We are looking for a responsive and analytical person with the ability to identify needs that can drive processes forward with a focus on value and results. You should be accustomed to communicating and presenting to both customers and colleagues. Building new relationships is something you enjoy, and you are happy to share your knowledge.

You have approximately 5 years of work experience in the development of electromechanical design or cabling design. You should have a relevant technical university degree or a master's degree in engineering. Good experience with CAD tools, preferably Capital, E-Plan, CATIA V5, and/or NX. The assignments require good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing.
