Krokom Municipality's customer center is now looking for a summer substitute who is passionate about good service and has experience working in a reception and switchboard.

The customer center is under the growth area, which is part of the municipal management administration.

The municipal management administration supports three committees; the Municipal Executive Board, the Building and Environmental Committee, and the Community Building Committee. The administration employs about 135 staff and is divided into the areas of staff, building and environment, and community building and growth.

A Day as a Community Guide in the Customer Center

As a summer substitute in the Customer Center, you are the municipality's first point of contact for residents, businesses, and visitors. You handle incoming calls, emails, and visits, providing information and guidance on the municipality's services.

Responsibilities Include:

• ✔ Answering and transferring calls in the switchboard (TRIO).
• ✔ Providing service and guidance to the municipality's residents and businesses.
• ✔ Handling email inquiries and administrative tasks.
• ✔ Collaborating with various departments within the municipality to provide accurate information.

Your Competence

We are looking for someone with at least a high school education and experience in similar work. It is an advantage if you have completed training in administration or case management.

Furthermore, you need to be comfortable working with digital tools and have experience working in IT-based systems.

You have experience in municipal operations and knowledge of the municipality's assignments and organization.

You have a good ability to communicate verbally and in writing in Swedish and English, but if you speak additional languages, that is a plus. You can also adapt your communication to your audience and have a service-oriented focus.

As a person, you are responsible, structured, stress-resistant, and meticulous. You are resourceful and have a good ability to solve unforeseen tasks. You have good teamwork skills while being self-driven and taking your own initiatives. It is natural for you to want to provide good service in your interactions, which requires you to be unpretentious and solution-oriented.

We are Looking for Someone Who:

• • Has experience working in TRIO and/or switchboard.
• • Is service-oriented and enjoys customer contact.
• • Has good communication skills and can handle multiple inquiries simultaneously.
• • Is responsible, flexible, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• • Experience in travel services is an advantage.

Additional Information

The position is a full-time substitute from June to August 2025.
