We are now looking for an Operations Clearing Officer at Bankgirot who will play a central role in ensuring that their settlement processes function as they should.

Job Description As an Operations Clearing Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that payments (settlement rounds) between banks and financial institutions are carried out correctly every day. You will also be responsible for resolving any issues that arise, as well as monitoring and improving the technical and functional processes. In addition, you will also train new employees and collaborate with external parties to ensure an efficient and secure process.

Main Responsibilities:

• Monitoring settlement rounds.
• Troubleshooting, verification, and requirement specification of improvements and changes in services and systems, both at a functional and technical level.
• Administration of certificates for Bankgirot's customers.
• Responsible for following up on outputs and conducting meetings with relevant suppliers.
• Continuous responsibility for verifications, testing, and documentation in accordance with established SLAs.
• Introduction and training of new employees and backup resources within the business-critical operations for Clearing and Settlement.
• Collaboration with product management for Clearing and Settlement.
• Contact with participants, suppliers, and customers in connection with the service.
• Active participation in internal and external exercises to ensure continuity.

The Clearing and Payment Products department consists of about 20 people, of which five employees belong to the Operations Clearing team that you will be part of. You will be part of a dynamic and challenging work environment where you will play a key role in a business that is of great importance. You will work in an engaged team where you will have the opportunity to develop and make a difference. Bankgirot's approximately 220 employees are located in bright and pleasant offices in Liljeholmen.

Qualifications and Attributes To thrive and succeed in this role, we see that you have at least 3–5 years of experience in similar work, preferably within banking and payments or advanced technical support or back-office functions. We prefer that you are flexible and have the ability and willingness to handle both routine tasks and varying assignments in project form.

You have a genuine interest in technology and systems as well as a desire to develop in the field. Your ability to combine technical understanding with a structured and meticulous work methodology is crucial to ensure that Bankgirot's services are effective and secure.

Attention to detail and a sense of responsibility are essential, as the work involves handling transactions where errors can have significant consequences. You also have a strong awareness of security aspects related to payments and settlements. To succeed in this role, you need to be communicative and able to express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish and English. You find it easy to collaborate with both internal and external parties, including participants, suppliers, and customers.

We would like you to have experience working in projects as the group continuously drives and participates in larger assignments and projects related to clearing and settlement. Experience in process and system management is important, and it is an advantage if you have worked with SWIFT.
